United Krav Maga Association was founded in 2018 by Ivan Rios, IL Nam Yang and Bob Zacharias.

After extensive training in many different Martial Arts and Disciplines, law-enforcement and military which spans collectively over 100 years, the founders wanted a more simplistic and practical approach to self defense for the average citizen, law-enforcement officer and military personnel.

Krav Maga is known as the most practical and real world self defense discipline used by the Israeli Defense forces. UKMA is committed in training men, women, law-enforcement and military in the latest self-defense techniques and application so they can protect themselves, family and team and get back home to their loved ones.

All certified instructors are required to attend our training events throughout the year to keep up with the latest in current self-defense tactics ranging from hand to hand and weapons (Blunt, Edged and Firearm). 

Our ground fighting curriculum is the most comprehensive which starts at an earlier stage in training to give the individual more applicable experience when the situation goes to the ground.

Our certification and selection process is second to none and we are highly selective in who we bring on to represent UKMA.
